The Division's goal is to provide responsive and cost-effective maintenance of all transportation related public infrastructure and to respond to all citizen complaints and concerns in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
The Division maintains 36.71 miles of streets. Maintenance includes: patching and repairing both, asphalt and concrete streets; repairing curb, gutter, catch basins and storm sewers; street sweeping; repairing and replacing sidewalks; street sign & light program; tree trimming/removal; brush and leaf pick-up; snow/ice removal (streets/parking lots); garbage and recycling service and repair of City Vehicles/Equipment. The Clintonville Airport is also maintained which consists of mowing/trimming, snowplowing, repair and maintenance. The Division also maintains the Pigeon Lake Dam and the mowing of various ditches and right of ways.
The Division is staffed by the Director of Public Works, Street Superintendent, Fleet Mechanic I, Fleet Mechanic II, three Street Operators and the DPW Caretaker.
