The Common Council shall meet as a Committee of the Whole in workshop sessions where no formal action is taken.
The Committee of the Whole workshops will be conducted with the following types of direction:
- Citizen questions and concerns
- Items of discussion as requested by the Mayor or Alderpersons
- Review of policy action for future Common Council meetings
- Updates on department operations
- Preliminary policy and strategy discussions
- Staff reports and recommendations
- Presentations by other groups or agencies
